“For as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” (Mathew chapter 24 verses 37-39)
In Mathew 24, Jesus clearly stated that the last days (the days before his second coming) would be as the days of Noah. To understand the implications of this, we must study the days of Noah to understand why Noah’s day parallels the last days.
The wickedness of man
“And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of heart was only evil continually.” (Genesis chapter 6 verse 5)
One of the characteristics of the days of Noah was that the thoughts of men were continually evil. Man had degenerated to a level where all his thoughts were evil. When the thoughts of men are continually evil, their actions will also be continually evil because actions are products of thoughts. This decadence began from the fall of Adam but was accelerated by the arrival of angels who committed sexual immorality with the daughters of men. Quantum physicists say that thoughts are in frequencies so could it be that some of the philosophies and teachings that have caused moral and spiritual decadence in this age were projections from demonic realms into this earthly plane to capture the heart of generations? It’s hard to imagine that the thoughts of a man can be continually evil. We want to believe that even the vilest of men have some good within them. So what happened during Noah’s time that could have caused such a deluge? I believe the answer to this question is education.
The foundation of thoughts
Some of the cruelest men in history were not born wicked but they were the products of some form of education. Men like Hitler, Mao Zedong, Stalin were products of the educational system of their days. It was Nietzsche who wrote, “God is dead” and Hitler believed in Nietzsche’s philosophy. The foundation of our thoughts is the education we receive. We all view reality according to the glass of our preconceived ideologies. The first place we receive education is the family and that’s why every parent must build a solid foundation in the heart of their kids by teaching them biblical values. When a solid foundation is laid, the world cannot sow the seeds of deceit in their hearts. How did ordinary German men turn into cold blooded murderers during World War 2? They received a form of education that twisted their minds to believe that murder could be justified in the advancement of the state. What are kids learning these days in schools, camps or movies? What spirit is influencing your child when he sits in that classroom or when he sits in front of the television? We live in a world where being religious is almost equated with being stupid or uneducated. Kids are being taught weird ideologies founded on atheistic ideas. It’s no wonder that young Europeans are leaving the Christian faith upon which the continent was built. While parents go about trying to earn a living, their kids are being indoctrinated in various educational institutions.
Get in the ark
Just like Noah, we must keep speaking the word of truth because the end is near and the ark will soon be shut. I recently had a dream where I was in a large object in the air and as this object moved all over the earth, I could hear the screams of multitudes across the earth as disasters upon disasters ravaged the earth. I believe I was in God’s ark and the message was clear- the end is near and the ark will soon be shut. Noah preached for about 100 years, of the coming of a flood. Men had no understanding of what a flood was at that time because what they had was dew and not rain so Noah must have been mocked by many. Do not relent even as men mock you for speaking God’s word. One of these days, the door of the ark will be shut and the wrath of God shall be poured on the earth. Go tell the world that Jesus is coming soon. See you in the God’s ark.
